Common Questions About Invisalign Cost

Learn About Our Philosophy

IS INVISALIGN MORE EXPENSIVE THAN BRACES?

Many believe that clear aligners are more expensive than braces. So you may be surprised to learn that Invisalign® is frequently about the same or even less expensive than conventional braces. The primary factors that influence the cost of treatment are the:

  • severity of the issues that you want corrected
  • length of your treatment

DOES MY INSURANCE COVER INVISALIGN®?

While Invisalign® treatment is not covered by all dental insurance plans, many do. If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, it will almost certainly cover Invisalign®. In fact, many policies reimburse up to $3500 toward Invisalign® treatment. To make your orthodontic treatment as seamless as possible, Zombek Orthodontics will work directly with your insurance company to ensure you get the most out of your dental insurance.

How to Pay for Invisalign Without Insurance

My mother was a social worker, and my father was an urban planner. They were hard-working parents, and I definitely wasn’t raised with a silver spoon in my mouth. My parents worked hard for everything we had. I know the value of a dollar, and I know orthodontic work requires real financial investment in your smile or the smile of your child. Our office will work with you to make orthodontic care affordable for your family.

Affordable Payment Plans for Invisalign

Whether you have dental insurance or not, Zombek Orthodontics provides flexible and affordable monthly payment plans for Invisalign. We're proud to offer monthly payment plans for Invisalign that allow you to split the cost of your clear aligners over the length of your treatment. Our patients can start treatment for as little as $300 down. Learn more about our interest-free financing.

HSA/FSA for Invisalign

Invisalign® may be paid for with a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) in addition to regular dental insurance coverage. A flexible spending account, or FSA, is a kind of savings plan. This account may be used to pay for particular medical, dental, and orthodontic procedures. Invisalign clear aligners are one example of these treatment expenses.

Your employer is in charge of your FSA. You may contribute up to $2,600 each year into the account, which is typically deducted from your paycheck. You can set aside up to $2,600 per year. Some employers do not offer an FSA option, however.

An HSA is a form of health savings account. This is a unique savings account for people who have high-deductible health insurance. Money is deposited into the account. This money covers particular medical, dental, and orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign treatment. You can put away up to $3,400 per year for an individual or $6,750 per year for a family in an HSA. However, you must follow IRS guidelines to establish an HSA.
